Who I am
Anna Pennati is an artist addressed to the international art world, in her 25-year career she has participated in over 50 exhibitions in private galleries and museum spaces, including the Museum of Capuchin Cultural Heritage of Assisi, Miart in Milan and the Northwest Sezession in Wihelmshaven (Germany).
Pennati cleverly switches from one subject to another with great range, from time to time using a style and a technique more appropriate to the particular purpose she sets. In general, her preferred medium is acrylic on canvas, which makes the strong signs prevail, alongside color, which is the absolute protagonist of her semi abstract paintings.
The artist obtained a diploma from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. In the beginning, she combined painting with advertising graphics, creating numerous campaigns for the most famous Italian and international companies and communication agencies. At first glance her works may appear to be composed of color spots that form an abstract composition, however, with more careful analysis, we can grasp the emergence of a figurative plot.
